Mrs Mc Laughlin has been teaching her class Lámh signs all year. Therefore, every child in her class is provided with a stepping stone to communicating with each other and their teacher. The children use these signs on a daily basis whilst saying the word they are signing in English as well as in Irish. In the year ahead, we hope to extend this method of communication so that the children in our school who are non-verbal are truely included in our school life.
