A Special Class was set up in Scoil Eoin Baiste in August 2021. This class provides an education exclusively for students with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There is a maximum of 6 children in every special class with one class teacher and two special needs assistants. In Scoil Eoin Baiste the children are in the trusting hands of class teacher Miss Duffy and special needs assistant Ms Hegarty. The children enjoy a structured day tailored to their individual needs. With the approval of an extension to the school to facilitate two special classes we look forward to welcoming more children to the school.
